MO-CASH

Access your Unaitas account conveniently-wherever you are, at any time- using our Mo-Cash Mobile Banking Service. You can transact using your phone

CASH DEPOSIT

  • Go to M-Pesa menu in your phone
  • Select Lipa Na M-Pesa, Paybill Option
  • Enter Unaitas Business Number 544700
  • Then enter Your Unaitas Account Number that you want to deposit money to.
  • Enter the amount you want to deposit
  • Enter your M-Pesa PIN
  • Confirm transaction and wait for an SMS Notification.

WITHDRAWAL

  • Dial *493# and call and log in with your Mo-Cash PIN.
  • On the USSD Menu, Select Withdraw Option
  • On the next menu, Select Account Number to withdraw from.
  • On the next menu, enter the amount to withdraw and continue
  • Confirm the withdrawal.
  • Wait for reply

PESALINK

PesaLink is available to all members of Unaitas Sacco who are registered on Mo-Cash. It allows you to send money from your Unaitas account to any local commercial bank account instantly at a low cost. The service also enables you to receive money from other banks. It is available to our members 24/7.
PesaLink can be accessed through Mo-Cash USSD *493# or any of our branches. The transaction amount has been capped at KES 300,000 and KES 999,999 per day (subject to review).

How to Link your Phone Number to PesaLink
  1. Dial USSD *493# and select option 5
  2. Under option 5, select Link account number and proceed to link your phone number.
    Linking the account number makes it the primary account on PesaLink and all transfers via phone number on PesaLink will go to that particular account.
  3. You will receive a confirmation SMS upon successfully linking your phone number.
How to Receive Money to your Unaitas Account
  1. The Sender should be registered to PesaLink.
  2. Request sender to select Unaitas and enter your 10 digit Unaitas account number. The funds will be deposited in real-time.


How to Send money to a Commercial Local Bank Account

Transfer to Phone Number
  1. Dial USSD *493# and select option 5
  2. Select the phone number option
  3. Select the Unaitas account you want to debit. (Your transactional accounts are listed by numbers)
  4. Input the phone number you want to transfer to.
  5. Select the bank account linked to that phone number.
  6. Enter the amount you want to transfer and enter the transaction details.
  7. Enter your Mo-Cash PIN and confirm the transaction.
  8. After confirmation, a message is sent to both the member and the recipient with the transaction details.
Transfer to Account Number
  1. Dial USSD *493# and select option 5
  2. Select the bank you want to send money to. You may search using the bank’s first letter.
  3. Enter the recipient’s account number.
  4. Enter the amount you want to transfer.
  5. You will be prompted to confirm the transfer details before submitting.
  6. After confirmation, a message is sent to both the member and the recipient with the transaction details.
